About the Developer
I'm Yasir, an independent developer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I built PDFLoves because I was frustrated with PDF websites that upload your private files to their servers — your contracts, tax returns, medical records — all passing through servers you don't know or trust.
I decided to build something different: a complete suite of PDF tools that run 100% inside your browser. No file ever gets sent to any server — ever. This isn't just a marketing tagline; it's a technical reality you can verify yourself.
Built with the latest web technologies (React, TypeScript, WebAssembly) to explore the limits of browser-based security. Every line of code is written with one goal: your privacy first.
Trust, but Verify: The Offline Test
Don't just take my word for it — try it yourself! Open any tool on this site, then turn off your internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data), and try processing a PDF file. The tool will work normally because your files never leave your device.
How It Works — The Technology
Every PDFLoves tool runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. When you select a file, processing happens locally on your device — nothing is ever sent to external servers. This is fundamentally different from cloud-based PDF tools that upload your files to process them remotely.
We use MIT/Apache-licensed open-source libraries like pdf-lib and pdfjs-dist, ensuring full transparency. Your sensitive documents — contracts, tax returns, medical records — never leave your device. Even if your internet disconnects mid-process, the tool continues working.
Why Not Use Cloud Servers?
Most other PDF websites upload your files to their servers for processing. This means your private documents pass through servers that could be anywhere in the world. Even if they promise to delete files after processing, you can't verify that.
With PDFLoves, there's nothing to delete because your files were never uploaded in the first place. Your privacy is guaranteed by design — not by promises.

How this site is funded
PDFLoves.me is free and will stay free. To cover the cost of the domain and keep the project alive, the site displays Google AdSense advertisements alongside the tools. The ads are clearly labelled and never interfere with file processing.
What the ads never see: your PDF files, your filenames, your processing results. Everything stays inside your browser regardless of which ads are shown.
If you'd rather not see ads, an ad-blocker works fine — the tools function identically with or without ads loaded. I'd just ask that, if PDFLoves.me saves you time, you tell one person about it.
